Actually, Christ places casting out demons before the speaking with new tongues. There is significance in this order. The intention is that the people shall first be fully delivered from demons before they seek the baptism in the Spirit and the speaking with new tongues. However, through lack of discernment and understanding, this is not practiced in the church today. The result is that people nowadays are quite often baptized in the Holy Spirit and speak with new tongues but still need deliverance from demons after that. It is time for the church to devote prayerful, open-minded study to the subject of demonology.
The New Testament Greek word for “demon” is daimonion. This is the diminutive form of another Greek word, daimon. In Greek mythology and folklore, these words were used to describe a special class of beings to whom were attributed varying degrees of supernatural influence or power. Various cults and superstitious observances centered in these beings, and they played an important part in the daily life of the common people.
In the King James Version the Greek word daimonion is often translated “devil.” However, this is incorrect. The word “devil” is formed from the Greek word diabolos, which means literally “slanderer.” In Scripture, this normally is reserved as a term for Satan himself.
Associated in the New Testament with the noun daimonion is the passive verb daimonizomai. The literal meaning of this verb is “to be demonized” – that is, to be in some way under the influence or power of demons. Thus the meaning of the verb is very general. In the King James Version this verb is usually translated by some phrase such as to be “possessed” or to be “vexed” by demons or evil spirits. However, there are no distinctions in the original Greek text to which these various different English words correspond. Some preachers have worked out elaborate distinctions between possession, oppression, or obsession by demons. However, there is nothing in the original Greek to support these distinctions.
Two other phrases normally used in this connection in the New Testament are “evil spirit” and “unclean spirit.” A comparison of Revelation 16, verses 13 and 14, would seem to indicate that the two phrases “unclean spirits” and “spirits of demons” are used more or less interchangeably. There are three main elements that are associated with the concept of personality. These three elements are: knowledge, will, and emotion. It is important to see that all these three elements of personality are found in the New Testament picture of demons.
Demons possess knowledge. In Mark 1:24, the demon in the main synagogue at Capernaum said to Yeshua HaMashiach, “I know who you are – the Holy One of God!” In Acts 19:15, the evil spirit in the man at Ephesus said to the seven sons of Sceva, “Yeshua I know [acknowledge], and Paul I know [know about]; but who are you?” Demons possess will. In Matthew 12:14, the unclean spirit who has gone out of the man but can find no place of rest, says, “I will return to my house from which I came.” In Luke 8:31-33, the demons in the man of Gadarenes displayed very strongly their will not to be cast into the abyss, but rather to be allowed to enter into the swine. Demons possess emotion. In James 2:19 we read, “Even the demons believe – and tremble!”
Another fact that attests to the personality of demons is their ability to speak. This is recorded in many passages of the New Testament. We sometimes can attribute the concept of personality to anything that is able to express its meaning in intelligible speech. By every standard, therefore, we see that demons display all of the attributes of personality. This is of tremendous importance. Christian believers are in no position to deal with demons successfully until they recognize that demons, beings that God originally created as angels that chose evil and rebelled against Him, are beings, not things. A demon is not a habit or a mental state or a psychological condition. A demon is a spirit being!
One means by which the presence or activity of demons may be detected is with the supernatural manifestation gift of the Holy Spirit called in 1 Corinthians 12:10 “discerning of spirits.” Many Christians that have been baptized in the Holy Spirit manifest some measure of this discernment, but quite often they do not fully realize the nature of this operation of the Holy Spirit, and therefore they do not make effective use of it. Discernment of this kind needs to be cultivated with regular exercise. For this reason, we read in Hebrews 5:14 of believers “who are of full age [maturity], that is who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” In the church today there are all too few believers who exhibit this mark of spiritual maturity.
If Christians are willing to exercise their spiritual senses, they will soon begin to discover that there are many different symptoms that commonly indicate the presence or activity of demons. Some of the most common of these symptoms are set forth under two headings: first mental/emotional related primarily to the inner nature and personality; second physical related primarily to the outward bodily appearance and condition.
- Persistent or recurrent evil or destructive emotions or attitudes that can dominate a person, even contrary to his own will or nature e.g. resentment, hatred, fear, envy, jealousy, pride, self – pity, tension, impatience.
- “Moods” – unreasonable, sudden, extreme fluctuations e.g. from talkative exhilaration to taciturn depression.
- Various forms of religious error or bondage e.g. submission to unscriptural doctrines or prohibitions, unnatural asceticism, refusal to eat normal foods, superstitious observances of all kinds, all forms of idolatry.
- Resorting to charms, fortune telling, astrology, mediums, etc.
- Enslaving habits e.g. gluttony, alcohol, nicotine, drugs, sexual immorality or perversion of all kinds, uncontrollable or unclean thoughts or looks.
- Blasphemy mocker, unclean language.
- Persistent or violent opposition to the truth of Scripture or the work of the Holy Spirit.
- Unnatural restlessness and talkativeness, muttering.
- The eyes glazed or unnaturally bright and protruding or unable to focus naturally.
- Frothing at the mouth, fetid breath.
- Palpitation or unnaturally accelerated action of the heart.
- Shunning, recoiling from, or fighting against the power of the Holy Spirit.
In many cases one of these symptoms alone would not be conclusive indication of demonic presence or activity. But where several of these symptoms are found together, the probability of demon activity is extremely high.
In addition to these symptoms, the New Testament indicates plainly that demons are often the cause of purely physical sicknesses or infirmities. For instance, in Luke 13:11 we read of a “woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up.” As soon as this woman was delivered from this spirit of infirmity, her physical condition became completely normal Yeshua himself described her as “a daughter of Abraham” (v. 16). That is to say, she was a true believer. There is no suggestion that she was guilty of any special sin. The power of the demon was manifested solely in her physical body.
Again, in Acts 19:12, we read concerning the ministry of Paul in Ephesus, “so that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them.” Here “evil spirits” and “diseases” are associated together in a way that implies at times some kind of causal relationship between them. The following are some common mental or physical conditions that are sometimes caused by demons: insanity, insomnia, epilepsy, fits, cramps, migraines, sinus infections, tumors, ulcers, heart disease, arthritis, paralysis, dumbness, deafness, and blindness.
What are the conditions for deliverance from the destructive influence and power of demons? The first condition is a correct diagnosis. In 1 Corinthians 9:26 Paul describes his ministry as follows: “Thus I fight: not as one beats the air.” Where Christians are confronted by demons but do not realize the nature of their enemies, they are like a boxer who lashes out wildly with his fists but never lands his blows upon his opponent’s body. They may expend much time and energy, but they never make real “contact” with the unseen enemies who oppose them. For this reason, relatively little is accomplished. Once the presence and activity of demons have been correctly diagnosed, there are a number of further conditions for deliverance. Some of these concern the believer who is seeking to minister deliverance; others concern the person who needs deliverance.
The following are five important conditions that a believer administering deliverance, or “deliverance minister”, should fulfill:
1. The minister must recognize the authority delegated to him in the Name of Yeshua. Yeshua Himself said, “In My Name they will cast out demons” (Mark 16:17). Then, in Luke 10:17 we read, “The seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your Name.” In Acts 16:18, when Paul spoke to the spirit of divination in the slave girl at Philippi, he said, “I command you in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach to come out of her.”
2. The minister needs the power of the Holy Spirit. In Matthew 12:28, Yeshua said “If I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, sure the kingdom of God has come unto you.” He thus attributed His ability to cast out demons to the power of the Holy Spirit, the Ruach Hakadosh. Likewise in Luke 4:18 He attributed to the anointing of the Holy Spirit His ability “to proclaim liberty [or deliverance] to the captives … to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”
- The minister must understand and apply to each case the relevant principles of Scripture that define the conditions for forgiveness of sins and the legal basis of redemption through the Blood of Yeshua.
- The minister must often be prepared to provide both the time and place for intimate personal counseling. Generally speaking, the most unsuitable time or place is at the altar of a church during a public service!
- The minister must beware of spiritual pride in any form. He must be motivated by sincere, God – given passion for the one who needs deliverance. In all the outreaches of the church today, there is no more needy or pitiful class of persons than those who require deliverance from demons.
We may now turn to the case of the one who needs deliverance: the patient.
- Humility. The patient must, in humility, submit himself to God before he can resist the devil (see James 4:6-7).
- Honesty. This demands a full and frank acknowledgment both of the patient’s condition and of any sins that may have contributed to that condition (see Psalm 32:1-5).
- Confession. The patient must specifically confess to God all known sin (see 1 John 1:9). In addition, he may also have to make confession to the one who is praying with him for deliverance. This is implied by the words of James 5:16 “Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another.” This speaks of confession not merely to God, but also to man. The order is first “confess” then “pray.”
- Renunciation. It is not enough to confess sin without renouncing it. “He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy (Proverbs 28:13).” “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon” (Isaiah 55:7). This sinner must forsake not only “his way” (any inward sinful leanings or desires, even though these are not expressed in outward acts). “Forsaking” must come before “mercy” and “pardon.”
- Forgiveness. The one who desires forgiveness from God must first forgive his fellow men. Resentment and an unforgiving spirit are two of the most common hindrances to deliverance. In Hebrews 12:15, we are warned against “any root of bitterness.” Wherever bitterness has poisoned the heart, it must be totally removed, so that not even a root of it is left. There is special significance in the order of words in the Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13. First, “forgive us our debts [or trespasses] as we forgive our debtors [or those who trespass against us].” That is to say, our forgiveness from God is in proportion to our forgiveness from our fellow men. Then, “Deliver us from the evil one.” That is to say, forgiveness must come before deliverance. Without forgiveness, we have no right to deliverance.
- When the patient has met the above five conditions, he is then in a position to claim the promise of Joel 2:32: “Whoever calls upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved [or delivered].” Calling aloud upon the Name of the Lord Yeshua HaMashiach normally sets in motion the process of deliverance.
It is important to realize that deliverance is normally a process. This process may be brief or long and drawn out, it may be intense and dramatic, or it may be quiet and scarcely perceptible. But whenever a person is delivered from a demon, there is some definite experience or reaction. When there is no definite experience or reaction, it is questionable whether deliverance has really taken place.
In this connection, certain very simple common sense principles apply. If there is a demon anywhere within a person, then that demon must come out. Unless the demon actually comes out, there has been no deliverance. Normally a demon will seek to remain in hiding rather than be compelled to manifest its presence and come out.
A demon is a “spirit.” The Greek word for “spirit”, pneuma, also means “breath.” A person’s breath normally enters or leaves his body through his mouth or nose. The same is true of demons/evil spirits. When a demon comes out of a person, it normally comes out through his mouth. At this point, there is usually some definite manifestation. The following are some manifestations connected with the mouth that commonly mark the culmination of the process of deliverance: a hiss, a cough, sobbing, screaming, roaring, belching, spitting, or vomiting.
The phenomena of screaming or roaring are referred to in Acts 8:7: “Unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed.” However, these are only two out of various possible phenomena connected in some way with the mouth. Experience has convinced me that different classes of demons exhibit different types of behavior. For example, demons of sexual uncleanness normally come out with some forms of spitting or vomiting (and quite often large amounts of slimy, mucous material are brought up in the process). The demon of fear normally comes out with a kind of hysterical sobbing or whimpering. The demons of lying and of hatred utter a loud roar. The demon of smoking addiction comes out with a cough or gasp.
It sometimes happens that demons virtually set aside the personality of the patient and manifest and express their own personality through him. At times, they take control of the patient’s organs of speech and use these to utter their own words. Sometimes this causes an obvious change of voice. A gruff, masculine type of voice may be heard out of a woman’s throat. It sometimes happens also that the demon within a person may understand and speak a language not known to the person himself. In such cases, the minister may exercise the authority delegated to him through the Name of Yeshua and may command each demon to name itself, thus revealing its nature and activity. The following are some of the names that I have heard given: fear, hatred, lies, doubt, envy, jealousy, confusion, perversity, schizophrenia, death, suicide, adultery, mockery, blasphemy, witchcraft. I have also heard a number of other names too obscene to print.
Today, by divine providence, the veils of convention and carnality are once again being drawn aside, and the church of Yeshua HaMashiach is being confronted by the same manifest opposition of demon power that confronted the church of the New Testament. In these circumstances, the church must again explore the resources of authority and power made available to it through the Truth of Scripture, the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and the Name and the Blood of the Lord Yeshua HaMashiach.

Now “redeem” is one of those many Bible verses that has lost the power of its meaning in its current context. Today, “redeeming” something means exchanging it for something, as in “redeeming a coupon.” Or among Christians, it is one of the many religious terms that we assign meanings to using “context clues.” Some take it to mean a change in behavior or character for the positive, or going back and writing past wrongs. But I am here to tell you today, the word “redeem” meant to the writers of the Bible “to buy someone from slavery.” So, when a slave is redeemed he is free, and owes that freedom to his slave price being paid by his redeemer.
Now being a black man living in the American deep south, the heart of the old Confederacy and the over 200 years of slavery that preceded it, and still being surrounded by many references to “plantation” or “Gone With The Wind”, virtually everything being named after some Civil War hero, and the people still flying their Confederate battle flags and wearing the insignia (whom I do not begrudge or otherwise hold anything against), slavery has a real meaning to me, and causes a visceral reaction. Slaves were treated in the most abhorrant inhuman fashion; existing in and around death, pain, torture, and constant fear. A large percentage were literally worked to death by the age of thirty – five, with a great percentage of the rest succumbing to disease and malnutrition. Moreover, they could not go as they pleased or do as they wished, and everything that they created or produced was the property of their owner. A great many historians assert that slaveowners assumed credit for the inventions of their slaves, denying them not only the financial rewards but a legacy; a place in history. Indeed, this practice of robbing slaves of their achievements made it possible to claim that blacks were inherently intellectually inferior and therefore unworthy of educating (please remember that Charles Darwin’s evolutionary theory not only promoted this, but gleefully anticipated the day when the black race would be extinct).
And that, people, describes what the sinner is not only to sin, but to Satan, “the enemy” given in Psalm 107:2. If you are in this state of utter depravity, you are a slave. Satan comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10) , so he treats you in a most shameful manner, which leads to your spiritual death and destruction. And despite your best efforts, everything that you do and produce will be owned by sin and Satan, making it harmful and evil to yourself and all others. And the worst part is that you cannot leave. Of your own power and strength, you cannot escape the grip of sin and Satan that not only seeks to destroy you, but use your every word and action to destroy others, including those you love.
Now if you are still owned by sin and Satan, I urge you to quickly change that condition by following this salvation plan: (http://healthelandgeneraldocuments.wordpress.com/2007/04/13/the-three-step-salvation-plan/). Otherwise, if you have been bought with a price (I Corinthians 7:23, I Corinthians 6:20) then you should let people know! You should tell the world about it with your actions AND your words! You should preach the gospel!
If you have truly been set free, then you should be filled with joy over how you have passed from your slave state of having an evil master that wants to destroy you to having a loving Creator Elohim who will give you life and life more abundantly (John 10:10) from now until eternity. You should be filled with joy over how you have gone from being forced to give Satan everything without even knowing it so that he can use it for evil to giving God what you will out of a free choice so that He can use it for good (Romans 8:28, II Timothy 1:9) for everyone who is righteous. And your works for God will never be stolen from you or credited to someone else, but instead such spiritual treasures will be laid up for you in heaven (Matthew 6:19-20), where instead of being called a “savage” whose lifetime brutal subjugation was justified as some sort of favor, God will call you His faithful servant and say to you “well done” (Matthew 25:21). And yes, you have freedom of movement; to choose to serve and obey God fully – to love Him by keeping His Commandments – or to fall short of the mark (John 14:15). See, unlike Satan and his demons, God will NEVER deprive you of your free will. Even after you choose salvation through Jesus Christ, you still have to choose right from wrong; obedience from disobedience. Why? Because God loves you so much that He wants you to experience the even greater victory that comes from overcoming the world and your own nature; to do what Adam refused! Again, if you have truly experienced these things in your heart and life, you should tell everyone you meet out of gratitude for what God did for you as an act of praising Him, and also as a way of letting people that are still captive know that they can be set free also.
And there is another, bigger reason why you should say so if you have been redeemed. Again, buying someone from slavery is not done for free, and slaves are not cheap even in the natural realm where people eventually die! So how much more the cost in the spiritual realm where one exists forever! That is why the price of your redemption could not be mere trinkets of gold or silver. It could not be parcels of land, or the political decree of some state or king. It could not be the lives given through blood sacrifices of sheep or oxen. And it could not even be the the life of another human being! Why? Because all of those things are temporary. They will pass away. Remember, it is not your earthly body that was a slave to sin and Satan, though it certainly was used in service to sin and Satan. Were that the case, when your earthly body dies, your captivity is over; you are free! When you think about it, that really isn’t such a bad deal. Live fast, have a good time, die young, who cares? Even if you comport yourself in the most immoral, evil, and grotesque of fashions, there is no real punishment, right? Some would consider living a moral, restricted lifestyle the greatest punishment imaginable. So, for such a person, “the wages of sin being death” (Romans 6:23); they can handle that paycheck when it comes due.
Alas, but the debt is not natural that ends with life on earth, but it is a spiritual one that lasts forever, paid with eternal torment in unquenchable flame (Matthew 3:12, Luke 3:17)! So what was the price of your eternal redemption? Eternity! It was God Himself temporarily giving up His place in Heaven, eternity, to come to earth as a sinless man wrapped in temporary flesh, be nailed to a rugged cross, and experience death, even if only for a time. Only the earthly death of God, who is actually an eternal spirit (John 4:24) but was manifested in the flesh (John 1:14) for the purpose of our redemption alone, had a price high enough to buy us from slavery to sin and Satan and to set us free.
So if you have any concept of what it is like to be in eternity, away from the pain, misery, injustice, death, and sin that rules the earth, and leave it even for a time, then how can you not say what God did for you? If you have any concept of what it is like to take leave of your place on the right hand of the Father, to give up the privilege of being God in Heaven, to become a mere man, how can you not say what God did for you? And if you have any concept of what it was like for God to take on the sins of everyone who ever lived and ever will live and experience death, which only exists because sin came into the world, though He never sinned and could not sin, how can you not say what God did for you? And if you have any concept of what you gained when God overcame death and rose again, giving you the power to resist your natural desire to sin and reject God, how can you not say what God did for you?
People who are called by the Name of the One True Almighty God, if you had any idea of what your God did for you, then you would say so! And I dare propose that if you are not saying so, then it is almost certainly because it has not been fully worked in you. (Either that, or you are suffering from some sort of satanic oppression, and we are here to help you overcome that at firstname.lastname@example.org!) After all, many are called but few are chosen (Matthew 22:14)! Ponder upon the true meaning of that verse, and let it be the inspiration for you to start spreading the gospel today!
Father God in the Name of Jesus Christ, may those that have been bought by the Savior’s Blood from their sins and set free into righteousness and the Kingdom of Heaven by your power cast aside all doubt, fear, false doctrines, cultural attitudes, laws, and satanic oppressions to begin preaching the gospel to all men today!
The demon that works in this area is fear, making people afraid to preach the gospel because of the opposition and persecution that they know will result. Procrastination, complacency, and laziness also play roles. Worldliness is also a factor, preventing people from realizing and appreciating what God has truly done for them, and that means ungratefulness as well. Seflishness and hard – heartedness causes people to regard only their own fates and not care about others; pride, bitterness and hate actually causes people to WANT others to perish rather than be saved. False doctrine and false teaching hinders the speaking of the gospel as well. Low self – esteem and self - condemnation causes Christians to think that they are unqualified and unworthy to preach the gospel. And a great many other evil spirits such as greed, materialism/mammon, false burden, vain works/religiosity, fear of God, fear of hell, etc. keeps Christians so busy that they do not have time to be effective at sharing the gospel, and indeed from even thinking much about it. None of these evil spirits are any excuse for not regularly sharing the gospel not only with the unsaved but as a tool to encourage other Christians, so please the Basic Spiritual Warfare guide in order to oppose these spirits within yourself and the Body of Christ!

I was discussing with my coworkers what the goal of a parent should be in raising children. Many things were given about the various things that a parent should want his or her child to be and how to guide the child towards those directions, but there seemed to be a general agreement in the area of “raise your child to be a good person.” Now that presented two problems to me. First, having been raised in the church, I knew that being a truly good person was unattainable, because no one is good but God, and also insufficient for entry into heaven. Second, I knew that I most certainly was not a good person. I was a liar, accuser, and a gossip. I was quick to lose my temper and hurl profanities and racial slurs. I was dishonest in my financial affairs, my marriage was failing, my health was declining, my child was being neglected, and all of those things were someone else’s fault. I would make and break promises and often procrastinate. Projects that I would start would have to be finished by others who often would have to correct my shoddy work. In addition, I had a problem with compulsive masturbation that began after I took a comprehensive sex education course in my public school, was addicted to pornography, would constantly leer at women, and was tormented by violent, vulgar, and sexual thoughts that would trouble me all night long.
A great many of these things I managed to keep hidden from my wife and from others, but I was still being destroyed, not only by my problems but by the stress of having to conceal them and the fear of being caught and exposed. An even bigger cause of stress and fear was that my behavior gave me no pleasure or comfort at all. I would do these things and only feel fear, guilt, shame, and self – hate afterwards, yet I could not stop no matter how hard I tried. I considered suicide as a means of escape, thinking that my wife and child would be better off without me, but I knew from my religious upbringing that were I to die in my condition, I would spend an eternity in the lake of fire, and to me that was the most fearful and stressful thing of all.
One night I saw my son, still practically a baby, imitate my bad behavior. Right then I imagined him growing up to become just like me, and knew that it would be entirely my fault! Instead of raising my son to “be a good person”, I was the primary bad influence in his life! I ran into the bathroom and cried, telling God that I did not love my son, my wife, myself, or even Him and had never given or experienced love in my entire life, and asked Him to put love in my heart; to teach me how to give, receive, and show love. Then I heard a small voice that said “Keep my commandments.” That was it, those three simple words. I recognized them as the words of Jesus Christ and that they were true, but instead of comforting me and appearing to be the answer to my problems, it struck me as a curse, a death sentence. I had been trying to keep God’s commandments all my life and failing, with each failure worse and worse and removing me further and further from the presence of God. How could God ask me to do the impossible like that? I asked my wife about it, and she said “It is impossible for a man to do, but with God all things are possible.” So even though I knew that I could not do it, I decided to try. Obeying that small still voice that I heard was my only hope.
I did not go to church, because I had attended them all my life and they had never given me the answer. Instead I started studying my Bible and watching Christian television, trying to learn the secrets of doing the impossible. I found some answers, but I just could not break through or get over the barrier because I could not stop doing bad things. Finally, I saw this man on television tell me what I had never heard in a lifetime of going to church and doing religious things. This man said that Jesus Christ, when He died on the cross, took care of all of the bad things that I had ever done and would ever do, and that I didn’t have to worry about the things that I had done or that I might do. He also said that there was nothing that I could ever do to add to what Jesus Christ had already done; that Jesus Christ had finished it once and for all.
Now that was different from what I had learned in church. Some of the churches that I had been to told me that if I did something wrong, I would have to start all over again, and if I went too far, did too much, or died at the wrong time I would be separated from God forever. The other never dealt with the topic at all, but instead talked about family values, political issues, and how to gain wealth and receive miracles. But this man’s message: it was entirely different from anything I had heard! It seemed too good to be true! I asked my wife if it was true, and she told me that it was what she had been trying to tell me ever since we had first met. So I believed.
Immediately, the huge weight of fear, stress, and shame that was like a boulder sitting on my chest lifted, and I felt peace and hope instead. I was able to tell my wife the truth about the things that I was doing and ask her forgiveness, which she gave. Over time my speech changed: I no longer gossip, curse, rail against white people or Jews, or lie to cover up my behavior. My health problems are gone, the family finances are under control, and my wife, son, and I were healed of illnesses. My wife and I are so close that we are extensions of each other. I spend more time with my son, the behavioral problems that he was developing are reversed, and God even answered his prayer for a baby sister, born just a few days ago. And yes, I now sleep at night.
It has not been easy. I still have desires to go back to my old ways, and have suffered relapses. I am still not a good person and will never be. But God is good, and by believing on what Jesus Christ did, the God that is good is in me. I keep the commandments of God by believing on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and because of that I will be with God forever. Now I run an Internet outreach effort, among other things, that sends messages advertising the grace and forgiveness that is available to them through Jesus Christ on some of the very same Internet pornography sites that I once frequented, and I received my first statement from someone accepting and believing what Jesus Christ did for them through that ministry just a few days ago. So yes, God is good, and if you believe on Jesus Christ, the good God will live in you. So, if God saved and changed me, He can do the same for you. Follow this link and see how.

What are you going through in life today? Is it sickness? Is it grief over a lost loved one? Is it poverty? Is it racism or discrimination? Are you in jail for a crime that you did not commit? Or maybe it is things in your past. Were you robbed? Raped? Molested as a child? Maybe it is guilt over something that you have done, or many things that you have done. Maybe you are bearing the burden of family shame, or a family secret. Perhaps you have no one you can talk to, no one to confide in, no one who understands you, or no one that you can trust. Maybe there is so much pain in your life and there are no solutions and answers; nothing to help you understand the pain much less make it go away. Maybe you have tried and failed and lost for the last time, and you are sick and tired of putting yourself on the line and risking yourself. Or maybe you are just overwhelmed by all of the suffering and injustice in the world.
Of course, the person who has experienced any of these things – or all of them – has a powerful incentive to give up on God. To ask “where is God”? Or to proclaim that if there is a God, then He is unworthy of being followed because He allows so much misery to be heaped on people; because He allows so many of His children to go to bed crying each night. Well I am here to tell you today that you should not give up. You should not harden your heart. You should not lose your faith. Why? Because you may cry yourself to sleep at night. Or your tears may be so much that you cannot even fall asleep. But when the night is over and the morning comes, God is still there, and He will wipe the tears away from your eyes.
Am I talking about in this life? No. There will always be problems, struggles, trials, and tribulations in this life. Whoever tells you different is a liar, and you should turn aside from them, especially if they call themselves a Christian. I mean in the next life. Not in this flawed temporary life marred by sin where you not only have to face the consequences of your own deeds but are affected by the evil decisions and natures of others, but in the eternal life to come. If you hold on, if you endure to the end, then God will rescue you. He will save you from the torment. He will balm the pain. He will cause you to forget every evil wicked troublesome thing that you did to someone else and that others have done to you. God will destroy all that is evil, all that is corrupt, all that is unjust, all that is arbitrary, and restore righteousness and order to a creation that fell into sin with Adam. And when that happens, God will wipe away the tear from your eyes.
Why does it have to wait until the next life? Well why not? Again, this life is temporary almost to the point of not even being real! But the next life is FOREVER. What would it accomplish for God to take away your problems in this life only for you to experience an eternity of misery? Consider Adam. He was created in perfection and lived in perfection, with all of his needs met. But that came to an end when he sinned and suffered spiritual death. Adam’s perfect life was temporary, and his punishment will be forever. Why would you want to be like Adam? If you are going to have to live through a nightmare, make it a nightmare that will end when this life ends, not a nightmare that will start when this life ends and will continue forevermore!
So many people are shortsighted like Esau, who sold his destiny for a bowl of soup. Well, humans are willing to sell their eternities because they refuse to let go of the things that have hurt them and made them angry in this life. It is as if they do not even WANT God to wipe the tears away from their eyes in the next life because that would take away their privilege of judging God for all of the things that they didn’t like about this one. Because their lives did not go perfect by their estimation, they will not submit to God and give Him the glory. It is easy to go through life thinking that just because things went wrong – and for some people they went VERY wrong – that it means that the Bible is full of errors, is just a bunch of allegories and fables, and there is no God and will be no judgment. It is easy to think that if there was a God then He would have been fairer to people, especially to YOU. Because even if you yourself have not experienced any real struggle or heartbreak, you are angry at God for allowing you to witness what happens to others and to thereby doubt. You wonder why God even created you; why He did not allow you to die in the womb rather than live a life filled with so much doubt, so much uncertainty, so much unfairness, so many unanswered questions.
You wonder how God could force you to stake your eternity on accepting the impossible by faith alone. After all, maybe you are not just Esau, who was merely hungry. No, you have REAL PROBLEMS. You have REAL QUESTIONS. Like how you can believe in a book that tells you that the world was created in seven days when science tells you that it was created in billions of years. The answer: go back before the billions of years and then what? You know, when time was equal to ZERO. What was there? What created the earth? What created time? What created whatever that went “bang” all those billions of years ago? You tell yourself that if you had the answers to all of those questions, you would believe. But the truth is that having the answers to those questions would only create more. They would only give you more occasion to deny the Bible and accuse God.
Why? Because it is not the “unanswered questions” that are vexing you. It is not even the things that you have gone through in your life. No, the root cause of it all is actually your own rebellious heart: your natural desire to oppose and reject God. Even those who have accepted Christ and live for Him have to oppose this part of their nature and the similar evil spirits, and the facts of life give them plenty of opportunity to wrestle with themselves in this manner. See, we get so arrogant that we think that we are wrestling with God like Jacob, but we should humble ourselves and admit that we are wrestling with OURSELVES. The battle that has to be overcome, then, is not so much Satan. It is not so much the evil that we have witnessed and suffered. It is against our own nature and hearts. Yes, the pains and hurts that we have experienced are real, and when we cry God cries along with us! As a matter of fact, God CARRIES us through these times and we do not even realize it. But when we use the pains and hurts as an excuse to reject God … that is not between God and us. That is not even between Satan and us. That is, rather 100% us. And in those times, we can either go running to God for help, or we can remain double – minded and at risk of turning the wrong way, which is allowing our lesser temporary pain to condemn us to greater eternal pain.
But as I said, do not be deceived. God is still on the throne. If you continue to believe in Him; if you continue to overcome, God will deliver you. If you can only resist allowing the things that happen to you in this life to cause you to reject God in the next, God will deliver you! And when the day of your final deliverance comes, God will wipe away your tears, and you will remember them no more. Do you want to start the process that God will use to one day wipe the tears away from your eyes? If you have not done so already, you can do so here.
Prayer: Father God in the Name of Jesus Christ, may people come to realize that if they will only put their trust in you, set aside their own emotions and desires, and hold on until the end, that You will deliver them in the end into eternal salvation, and the eternal gain will be immeasurably greater than their temporary loss. Amen.

Luke 11:2 – And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
The Word of Faith and prosperity doctrines (often used together) are so opposed to not only scripture but simple observation and common sense that it makes their wide scale embrace by so many Christians to be unbelievable. It is one thing for the large percentage of Americans who have never seen or experienced a miracle to say that God does not perform them anymore. It is one thing for people to find it difficult to trust that an unseen God will forgive their sins as a free gift by grace alone and instead put their trust in legalism and works. It is one thing for people to wonder with all of the scientific discoveries and cultural changes if the 66 books of the Bible represent complete revelation and inerrant final authority. And it is one thing for people who lack thorough belief in the Bible, regular church attendance, or a high priority on faith in their lives to attach themselves to strange beliefs and practices. And it is one thing for a relatively small number of people to be deceived for a short amount of time. But for many millions of the most theologically conservative and fundamentalist Christians with the most fervent dedication to doctrines founded completely on not only a literal but also MYSTICAL belief of miracles and the supernatural with FAITH as its core principle to have been deceived for DECADES in NATIONS ALL OVER THE WORLD is shocking. There are any number of explanations, including how the denominations and religious movements that popularized these doctrines rely on experience and emotion rather than doctrine, and discourage an in – depth intellectual theological approach to studying the Bible not only among its lay members but also among its clergy. But that is not sufficient. Why? Because the vast majority of the people who support or abide “pastors” who preach this heresy never truly prophesy or speak in tongues, never experience faith – healing, and certainly never experience supernatural multiplication of their finances. Further, charismatic and miraculous experiences are by no means limited to those in charismatic denominations or movements. Further, you have some very well educated people, including not a few theologians and Bible scholars, among the ranks of the prosperity/Word of Faith clergy, and lay members of these groups include a great many brilliant people who dedicate themselves to extensive, thorough individual Bible studies. This is not a case of people who disbelieve but rather who believe as they choose, and is the best evidence of the spirit of anti – Christ’s increasing strength on the planet. I am not going to go into the many arguments against these doctrines, which have been stated many a time before. Instead, I am going to approach the issue from a direct biblical perspective. Anyone who has read the Bible after any sort of honest fashion will realize that the primary overriding unifying principle is that God is sovereign. God does not serve man. God does not answer to and is not accountable for the will, emotions, wants, and decisions of man. Man was created by God at God’s pleasure for God’s purposes. We worship and serve God. And the only will that must be done and shall be done by God is God’s Will. Yes, the Bible is filled with the promises of God. But you know what? Not all of those promises are universal. The vast majority of the promises in the Old Testament were to the nation of Israel under the Old Covenant. The Old Covenant is done away with by the death of Jesus Christ! Some claim that it is expedient to be obedient to the conditions given under the Old Covenant to receive the promises (blessings, wealth, good health, long life) because A) it demonstrates obedience and devotion to God, B) it builds “discipline and character”, C) it is in the Bible, so it has to be righteous and D) BECAUSE YOU MIGHT GET BLESSED, AND AS A MATTER OF FACT IF YOU DO IT GOOD ENOUGH, GOD WILL HAVE TO BLESS YOU! D) quite obviously is simply trying to impose your own will upon God and to get him to serve you. As for C), virtually anything in the Bible can be very dangerous if taken out of its proper context. B) We are not supposed to build anything in ourselves by works, but rather to allow God the Holy Spirit to build them in us by faith, and A) you are actually neglecting and disobeying that which God has given you and told you to perform under the New Covenant, which is to concentrate on love and faith, in order to chase after that which He has told you to avoid and reject from the Old, which is works. Rather than being devoted to God, your devotion instead is to your own notions of righteousness.
What people so often fail to realize is that the Old Testament was the record of God’s dealing with Old Covenant Israel alone, and that the Old Covenant was given to Israel alone because Israel alone was to be the nation which brought the Messiah Jesus Christ into the world, and so the law was given to them in order to prepare them for that event. Since no other nation in the world was going to be used by God to bring the Messiah into the world, at no time did God ask of them to abide by it. Not only would it have been pointless to them, but it would have been a snare to them, and furthermore it would have led to confusion concerning the identity and purpose of the Messiah. And since it applied to Israel before the time of Jesus Christ and nobody else, how much less would it apply to other nations AFTER the time of Jesus Christ AFTER the Old Covenant has been fulfilled?
Bottom line: the Old Covenant was not given to us, so we cannot be blessed by it. The promises were not made to us, so there is no gain in keeping them. The only thing that can happen to us for trying to benefit from the Old Covenant blessings and promises is condemnation when we fail. I am going to give you an analogy. Suppose you and another person get hired at the same workplace, and both of you are given job assignments which fit your qualifications and training (say you’re an accountant and he’s a lawyer), and the benefits for completing those assignments include salary, retention, promotion, etc. If you go try to do his job and be lawyer, the only possible result is your failure because of your not being a lawyer, and being fired as a result. Even better (or worse) even if you somehow DID succeed at being a lawyer, you would not be paid, retained, and promoted for doing someone else’s job. Instead, you’d be fired for not doing your own. Why is that so hard to understand? Our job is not to be the people to whom the Messiah is born into the world, our job is to tell the world that the Messiah has come. We cannot be blessed for pretending otherwise, only cursed, because not only do we neglect our actual jobs, but we grievously offend God by pretending as if He has not already come and paid the ultimate price for us. An even better comparison would be a person hired as an automobile assemblyman finding out that his company once made buggies drawn by horses and the employment terms for the people who did the work, and he goes about trying to build horse – buggies for a company that no longer sells them in a society that no longer needs them, and expect to be paid and retained according to terms that are no longer valid. This is even more ridiculous because this hapless person cannot possibly make a buggy because he lacks the materials and tools, and more still because the terms under which he was hired were far better in every way: vastly superior salary, benefits, job security, vacation, safe work environment, etc. that did not exist in that company – or any – 100 years ago. Yet, if this foolish person INSISTS on being evaluated according to the terms of that irrelevant contract, then the only possible outcome is failure, because he cannot produce the number of buggies according to it.
You might say “Hey, keeping the law was impossible under the Old Covenant too.” You misunderstand. If the contract called for 5 buggies a day and he was only able to produce 3, but was still otherwise a virtuous employee who worked hard, did his best, was respectful and punctual, then the company would keep him. Why? Because their job was to make and sell buggies, he was contributing to that fact, so he would be allowed to continue under the good GRACES of the company because, after all, it wasn’t as if anyone else was making 5 buggies a day anyway, for it was impossible. The company made the contract knowing that it was impossible to fill because they knew that if they could fill their workplace with people who were willing to work towards an impossible goal without getting disillusioned, rebellious, or complacent, it would make them the most efficient, productive, and competitive company in its industry. And that was what God was doing when He gave Israel the law. He did not expect them to be perfect by fulfilling it. He expected them to be a mighty and holy nation of renown by wanting and trying to fulfill it and not giving up no matter how many times they failed. He expected them to realize how God loved them despite their failure through grace, and for that realization to produce in them the nation that He desired to bring His Son into the world and set up the kingdom of heaven. Now Israel first went after idols and into captivity and even after they emerged they never understood grace, so they rejected the Messiah and the establishment of the kingdom of heaven was deferred, but their works under the law was still sufficient to bring the Messiah into the earth. So God ignored their failure to keep the law because their attempts were still good enough to create a nation that would produce the Messiah. Just as your failure to make 5 buggies a day would still contribute to producing more than enough buggies to make your company a handsome profit. But in THIS AGE, your failure to make 5 buggies a day for a company that no longer sells them gives them the right to fire you the first day that you fail to make five buggies (which will be the first day) and they will exercise that right. In that same manner, your inability to keep the law will not be ignored because your attempts to keep it will still contribute to a holy nation that will bring forth the Messiah. Why? Because the Messiah has already come, and there is no market, no use for your works under this dispensation. So, the only possible result of your failure will be cursings and death. Now unlike the auto company, God will suffer you to continue for a time in your error, giving you a chance to acknowledge His Truth. But God will not allow you to reject His Grace and the way by which Grace was made: the death of His Son and Word on the cross, forever.
Now people might say that I should not say those things, because God gave the law and the promises to the children of Israel forever, and to say that they no longer apply would be to make God a lie. God forbid. First, I will say it again, unless you are physically descended from natural Israel, those promises never applied to you to begin with because your people had nothing to do with bringing the Messiah into the world. Second, the promises and the law ARE forever, because THEY WERE FULFILLED IN THE MESSIAH! Jesus Christ is the law, Jesus Christ is the promises. We keep the law not in the flesh through works as natural Israel but in the spirit through faith as spiritual Israel, and we thereby receive the riches of the promise not in worldly things but in spiritual ones. We do not have to keep a bunch of statutes so God will bless us with bountiful harvests that we can take to market and sell for great gain. Instead, our riches are in the fruits of the Holy Spirit (joy, love, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self – control) which are far more valuable. All of Solomon’s money and wives could not buy him joy, love, or peace, and if you doubt that read Ecclesiastes. And even being a man after God’s own heart did not give David self-control (as evidenced by his taking Bathsheba and murdering Uriah) and for all of David’s attributes he is not especially known for being gentle, patient, or kind. And you know what? In the case of David, that was OK. Why? Because David lived under the Old Covenant. Sin had not yet been defeated on the cross and therefore ruled the earth. The Holy Spirit had not yet come, so it was impossible to war against sin spiritually using Ephesians 6:11 – 13, but instead it had to be done in the flesh. How? By going into battle against sinful nations. You do not want a patient, kind, gentle, temperate person as warrior – king of Israel. No, that job required someone who WANTED to wage continuous warfare and commit what we would consider today to be ethnic cleansing, genocide, war crimes, etc. while doing it. As a matter of fact, a great many of the heroes of the Bible were noted for their tempers, cruelty (by today’s standards), abrasive personalities, and rash actions, with Joseph being a notable exception.
Christians, we are a different nation playing a different game by different rules. The notions that you can accomplish anything in the spiritual realm with works of the flesh is a LIE. To be effective for God in the current dispensation, we must obey the New Testament, which tells us to A) love God with all our strength, B) love our neighbor, C) preach the gospel. There are lots of ways to do those three things, but everything that we do should be in conscious pursuit of those three things. For instance, we should not flee sin and temptation because we are trying to keep the Ten Commandments; we should do so because if we love God we will obey Him (John 14:15). If you are a soccer player, you are not going to score any points by picking up the ball and throwing it into the net as if you were playing basketball. So why on earth do you think that you are going to be rewarded with health, wealth, and long life by keeping Psalms, Proverbs, and what Malachi says about tithing? And why are you seeking those things anyway since none of those things were promised to us under the New Covenant anyway? The New Covenant promised us salvation, and the ability to live a joyous, spiritually productive life no matter what the circumstances of our earthly existence. This is not to say that God cannot heal. Of course God can heal. But the point of the New Covenant was not to provide healing of the flesh because the New Covenant heals the spirit, so that even if you never get out of that wheelchair, you will still have peace, which is something that the overwhelming majority of people who walk around on two legs do not have, and that includes Christians who are still seeking their blessings under the law! I once listened to a radio show by Ken Hagin, the son of Kenneth Hagin who created the Word of Faith movement. He met a woman in a wheelchair who was so advanced in her fruits of the spirit that her condition no longer bothered her, and she had actually written a book to encourage other people who are going through trials. Hagin persecuted that woman of God by claiming that if she only had faith, she would get up out of that wheelchair! Yes, God can raise people out of wheelchairs, but that isn’t the purpose of the New Covenant. The purpose of the New Covenant is giving strength to those who do not get out of their wheelchairs so that they will not be driven by their anguish over being in wheelchairs to seek false religions that may heal their bodies but will damn their souls to the lake of fire for an eternity.
Now in conclusion, let me destroy this “Word of Faith” doctrine, which is based on “speaking things that are not as though they were” in the case of Abraham. First off, they incorrectly portray the scripture. Romans 4:17 does not say that Abraham spoke things that are not as though they were, that Abraham “created with the power of his tongue using ‘the Word of Faith.’” It says that GOD spoke things that are not as though they were! They get around that by saying that Abraham did so when he stopped calling himself Abram and started calling himself Abraham, the father of many nations when he was yet childless. But people, Abraham did not initiate that to seek his own will; Abraham did not change his own name. GOD INITIATED IT TO DO HIS WILL; GOD CHANGED ABRAHAM’S NAME. ALL ABRAHAM DID WAS TO BELIEVE GOD, AND IT WAS ACCOUNTED TO HIM FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS. Realize this: THERE IS NO INSTANCE GIVEN ANYWHERE IN THE BIBLE OF SOMEONE “SPEAKING THE WORD OF FAITH.” EVEN WHEN ABRAHAM OBEYED GOD AND STARTED CALLING HIMSELF BY HIS NEW NAME, WHAT HE WAS DOING IS CALLED PROPHESYING. PROPHESYING IS WHEN YOU SPEAK THE WORD THAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU CONCERNING THINGS THAT WERE, ARE, AND SHALL BE, NOT CREATING SOMETHING THAT EXISTS ONLY IN YOUR OWN MIND. Go read your Bibles (PLEASE!), it just isn’t there. When Isaiah PROPHESIED that the Messiah would come in the world, HE WAS MERELY REPEATING WHAT GOD HAD ALREADY TOLD EVE! THOSE WORDS WERE NOT ISAIAH’S, THEY WERE GOD’S! So, they were not “Isaiah’s word of faith”, they were GOD’S PROPHECY! And you know what? WHEN WE SPEAK OF THE RETURN OF JESUS CHRIST AND THE OTHER THINGS GIVEN IN REVELATION, WE ARE PROPHESYING JUST AS ISAIAH DID (Revelation 19:10). WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU SETTLE FOR “THE WORD OF FAITH” TO GET WHAT YOU WANT WHEN YOU CAN PROPHECY WHAT GOD WILL DO? I WILL TELL YOU: THE ONLY REASON IS BECAUSE YOU ARE A FOOL WITH A CORRUPTED MIND!
And that brings me to shattering this prosperity heresy. People, people, please read I Timothy 6. It says it right there in verse 5: PEOPLE WHO TEACH THAT A) WEALTH IS RIGHTEOUSNESS OR B) RIGHTEOUSNESS RESULTS IN WEALTH UNDER THE NEW COVENANT HAVE CORRUPT MINDS! Do you know what that means? THEY ARE REPROBATES! THEY ARE GOING TO THE LAKE OF FIRE FOR ETERNITY! THAT IS WHY THAT VERSE SAYS TO WITHDRAW YOURSELVES FROM THEM! YOU ACTUALLY HAVE PEOPLE WHO ADHERE TO THIS DOCTRINE SAYING THAT IT IS A SIN TO BE POOR WHEN JESUS CHRIST OUR GOD AND SAVIOR SAID BLESSED ARE THE POOR FOR YOURS IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD! DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT IS, PEOPLE? THAT IS BLASPHEMY! RUN FROM THEIR BLASPHEMY WHILE YOU STILL HAVE A CHANCE LEST YOU BECOME REPROBATES LIKE THEM, AND START PREACHING THE TRUE GOSPEL TO SAVE OTHERS FROM BECOMING BLASPHEMING REPROBATES!
Prayer: Father YHVH in the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach, we praise You for the better promises of the New Covenant. Please keep us from falling into the lies that we should seek righteousness or blessings under the Old Covenant, or that godliness is gain, and please use us to preach against the false teachers and prophets to prevent people from following after that doctrine and delivering those who are ensnared in it from it. Amen.
Deliverance: The demons that work in this area are doctrinal error, blasphemy, and self – will. Please read the Basic Spiritual Warfare guide to learn more about how to go against these demons to help set captives free and win battles in the name of your God through the power, authority, and victory given to you by his Son Jesus Christ and by his blood shed for you!

II Timothy 2:15 – Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Every day, every hour of the day, inside churches and outside churches, people are rejecting the Bible. They reject its power. They reject its righteousness. They reject its final authority. They reject is literal truth and inerrancy. Now they will claim to love its history. They will claim to love its values. They will claim to love its traditions. They even claim to love its impact on world culture and history. They do this because of a need to seem tolerant, valid, moral, even righteous in their own eyes and before the world. All morals, all righteousness, all purity, all reason demands that they accept SOME of the Bible. After all, who can disagree with “thou shalt not murder”? Who can disagree with “love thy neighbor as thyself”? Who can disagree with “judge not lest ye be judged”? Who can disagree with peace, justice, and “the golden rule”? But alas, these people cannot accept all of the Bible. They want to accept some of it. The parts which sound good TO THEM. The parts which sound consistent TO THEM. The parts which sound righteous TO THEM. The parts which THEY want to keep. So they tell themselves the big lie, which is that it is possible to keep SOME of the Bible without rejecting ALL of it. THAT is why you have people claiming such nonsense as morality being evolutionary. Why? No one wants to oppose morality. Without morality, without standards, there would be chaos. So they claim that morality, just like man and even the Bible itself, just happened out of nowhere. Even worse are the so – called Christians who claim that the Bible is merely stories and allegories, not to be fully believed, but instead should only be referenced in the context of philosophical and legal constructs that can be adapted to changing times. Which is, of course, ridiculous, for the Bible read as a philosophy or law is confusing, antiquated, contradictory, and barbaric. Even reading the Bible as literature or history is utterly useless. It makes for bad literature because God goes from being an excessively overused plot device to barely being seen or heard to do much of anything after the destruction of the first temple save for Jesus Christ being God in the flesh, and even Jesus Christ mostly departs from the scene after the gospels. And it makes for bad history because so many of the people and events recorded in the Bible, often in excruciating detail, are simply of no consequence in any secular context. So the Bible has meaning only as not only truth, but as absolute truth; the only truth. Yet that is the very meaning which everyone, especially Christians, seek to deny. The question is: why? The answer is sin. Despite what you have heard, it is quite possible to follow the Bible, because following the Bible is not something that is done by action of hand or profession of mouth but rather by the faith and will of the heart. So, the problem is not that it is impossible not to sin, because the Bible itself says that it is impossible not to sin and moreover says that one should not even try. The problem is that one should DESIRE NOT TO SIN. Make no mistake: THAT is what people cannot accept. And you know what? It is more tolerable to preach in your little “Christian” megachurch that God does not want you to sin than it is to preach the truth; that God does not want you to DESIRE to sin. Why? If you preach the LIE, then people are comforted with the LIE. Why? Because the LIE is unattainable, and everyone knows it. They will say “Hey, what God wants of us is too hard, so therefore God, being loving and righteous, will not punish be for failing to do the impossible. Instead, He will reward me for my good works.” Therefore, you will believe a LIE because that LIE will allow you to believe that it is OK to want to sin and be an unrepentant sinner. Most of all, that LIE, your very own STRONG DELUSION, keeps you from having to acknowledge the TRUTH, which is that unless you change you will die in your sins and spend an eternity in the lake of fire, and that will happen not because of what you DID, but because YOU LIKED DOING IT AND DID NOT EVEN WANT TO CHANGE! THAT is the reason why you will fail God’s test and be judged unrighteous by a God who will retain His Righteousness. It is not because God is this evil God who created some standard that was too high for you to meet because God created you for the purpose of your destruction and is gleefully awaiting that day! God forbid! God’s Own Word, the Bible which you reject, says that it is not His Will that any should perish; that the lake of fire was not prepared for man but rather for Satan and his demons! No, you will be destroyed because you loved your sins more than you loved God. That means that you loved yourself more than you loved God, and thereby you made yourself a God. Well, God’s Word said THOU SHALT HAVE NO GODS BEFORE ME! But you are a lover of self with all your lusts, filths, abominations, blasphemies, and corruptions, and not a lover of God. And for that reason, the only thing that awaits you is your destruction. Your only future is judgment.
And that is why you hate the Bible. The whole book is about YOU and what will happen to YOU. You want desperately to believe that God will save you for your works’ sake, but the Bible tells you that it is a LIE. So you reject that part, but that makes the whole thing a LIE. So you tell yourself that the Bible cannot be true, because if it is true, then judgment is true. If the Bible is true, then the judgment is true, and the judgment is coming after you. And your judgment does not merely await you, does it? No, it does not. The only thing that awaits is REWARD. True followers of Christ who have accepted the truth of the Bible and have thereby decided that they do not wish to desire sin in their hearts, THEY are awaiting something. THEY are contending something. And something is REWARD. But you? You are not contending for anything. You are not awaiting anything, because you have not been granted that privilege, you have not been given by the free gift of grace that status. I will tell you the status that you do have, though: THE STATUS OF HUNTED PREY.
Yes, that is what you are, my friend. You are an antelope. You are a rabbit. You are a chicken. You are a mouse. You are a fly. And judgment, that coming judgment day, is stalking you. You are its prey. My friend, tomorrow is not promised to you. It is not even known to you with certainty that you will finish this document. If you do, you cannot deny that the sad fact is that by the time you get through reading this, several people will have died. Now you may dispute whether some will go to reward and the rest to damnation of flame. You may dispute the standards which determine who receives reward and who inherits flame. But you cannot dispute that even if your life does extend past the amount of time that it will take for you to read this document, others will not be so fortunate, and you also cannot dispute that just as right now is their day and time, your day and time is too coming. So, my good friend, whether you want to acknowledge it or not. Judgment is coming, and unless you are born again through the one who is commonly called Jesus Christ but His Name was more likely Yeshua HaMashiach, then judgment is coming after you.
The coming judgment is a roaring lion. It is a ravening wolf. It cannot be stopped or delayed. It cannot be pleased or appeased. It knows no pity, it has no compassion. Judgment is not even death, for death itself will be overtaken by it, and the grave with it! Now a partial judgment my friend, already happened during the time of Noah. But God remembered Noah, and the partial temporary judgment was appeased. Why? Because it was the judgment of WATER. And its purpose was to cleanse creation of corruption for a time so that it could have a second chance, a second dispensation, during which Shiloh Emmanuel the Redeemer would come. But the next judgment will be by FIRE. Its purpose will not be to cleanse creation of sin for a second chance, but rather to destroy a creation that has run out of chances forever! All that is sin and all that loves sin will be destroyed in the second complete judgment, AND THAT JUDGMENT WILL LAST FOREVER! There will be no second chances for that which loves sin, but rather a new heaven and a new earth will be created for God and for all of His Servants WHO HATE AND HAVE REJECTED IT! And regrettably my friend, that does not include you. And that is why you are prey and I am not. That is why you are the fox to judgment’s hound. That is why you are the pigeon to judgment’s hawk. That is why you are fish to judgment’s shark, squid to judgment’s killer whale, and bug to judgment’s wasp. That is why you are the wildebeest to judgment’s crocodile. That is why you are the fly to judgment’s frog, the worm to judgment’s robin, and the moth to judgment’s spider. The difference is that where sometimes an occasional lucky intended victim will escape the jaws of its pursuer, forcing it to either find another quarry or starve to death, there will be no escape for YOU, lover of sin. Not only will judgment overtake you, but it will be in no danger of starvation for it will spend an eternity with you as its meal!
And when that day comes when judgment overtakes you, oh what a live one you will be. At your Creator will you shake your fist. Against Him you will gnash your teeth. Upon His Name you will spit and curse. Against His judgment shall you rebel. And of His Righteousness and Love you will accuse and deny. The whole point of your presentation will be that God’s standard was too hard, that you never knew the truth, that you never had a chance, for God had it out for you from the beginning and it just isn’t fair. After you are done, you will do at death what you never did in life, which is bow before Him and confess His Word as Your Lord. You will be made to confess that God IS Righteous, that God IS Love, and that it is because of that Righteous Love that you must be forever destroyed, tortured in an indescribably grievous flame, because you loved your sin more than you loved His Righteousness. Your love of sin you accepted, His Love of Righteousness you rejected, the choice that you made was your own for reasons none other than your own selfish arrogant pride, and that you had your chance and you blew it. You had the Bible and decided that it was not true. It was not because you could not live up to the Bible’s standard, but rather because you did not want to. God will take you through every minute of your wretched wasted existence which was so depraved that it would have been better had you died in the womb, and show you each and every chance you had to accept the gospel and rejected it. He will show you each and every time a preacher spoke to you, and you scoffed at him. He will show you each time you knowingly came near a Bible and passed it by. He will show you every time you read the Bible and denied its meaning. He will show you every time you sat in church allowing your ears to be tickled with what you knew was a lie. And then he will show you every time you persecuted a Christian for his unwillingness to abandon or compromise the truth and join you in your love of sin and your being prey for judgment! And after all of that is done, God will command His servants, those who did not join Satan in a rebellion that like you Satan knew was destined to fail but tried it anyway because of the pride in his heart, to take you and cast you into that same judgment that can never be filled, pleased, or appeased, but instead will spend an eternity trying to be filled, pleased, and appeased with you.
And you, despite how you might lie to yourself and others, despite how you are running away from it, despite how you are rejecting the loving God that so desperately wishes that you not receive it, know that your judgment is coming. You can hear it. You can smell it. You can taste it. You can feel it. You can even SEE it. In that little moment that you have when your mind slips between reality and fantasy, you see yourself in the flame. When you fall asleep and night and start to dream, you see yourself in the flame. When you step outside your door and leave your manmade house and your manmade car into God’s creation, you see yourself in the flame. And when you look past what you call the physical natural realm past the limitations of time and space and into the eternal spiritual realm, you see yourself in the flame. Now sure, it is just a glimpse, a shadow, and it does not last very long, only a hint of an instant, but for that time you see yourself in the flame! Why? Because in that hint of an instant the natural you sees the same thing afar off that the spiritual you is seeing up close! The spiritual you knows its fate, and desperately wants to avoid it and is doing everything that it can to warn you, begging you and pleading you to get reconciled with God before it is too late, before the mouth of judgment devours it! But the natural you? It tells the spiritual you no, to go and sit down. Why? Because I like sin. I like my lusts. I like my pride. I like worshipping myself. I like my false religions. I like to rant, to hate, to lie, to gossip, to cause dissension, strife, and confusion. I like to consider myself righteous because of works that are noble in my own eyes. So go away, spirit, I like my life just the way it is and have no fear of or love for this God of which you speak. I have a god of my own invention that suits me much more.
But there is just one minor detail: the Bible. Oh the Bible. Oh that book that describes what is going to happen to you. That book that describes why it is going to happen to you. That book that not only describes how one can avoid your fate, but why YOU are not going to take advantage of it. You cannot deal with it. You cannot abide it. And you cannot even tolerate anyone in your midst who does. So, therefore, you hate it. You may have seven or eight in your house, and you may even read it every day and not only quote it but thump it whenever you speak. But it is all a lie, for deep down inside you hate it because your love of sin cannot coexist with it. And you also hate me. You hate me because I love God and therefore have the Bible in me. You resent me because I will not follow after your lies. You loathe me because I will not accommodate your false doctrines. You reject me because I will not cast rose petals at your feet while you are walking down the highway to your destruction. You believe that the highway leads to heaven like that hymn says, but it does not, for the way to heaven is no highway. It is a tough, narrow, winding road filled with obstacles, rejection, pain, and persecution. If our Saviour had to endure the cross, why should our walk be a bowl of cherries? But the bowl of cherries is what you went after, and you eat your fill of it, and the part of each one that you love best is the core, rotten stinking and oozing with your own lusts and filthy abominations. Well, you are what you eat, my friend, and that is why judgment is going to eat you. And that is why you have rejected the Bible, for the Bible is Truth, and the Truth reminds you of your fate. And because you cannot face your fate, you choose to believe a lie.
Now my friend, I have told you. I have told you everything that you have ever done, and I have told you why you have done it. Moreover, I have told you everything that you will do, and why you will do it. It is not because I am some great prophet, but rather because I have seen everything about you in the Bible. The Bible is the Book of Life, and you aren’t in it! And that, my friend, is the real reason why you hate it. Now you can change. You can get on your knees and cry out to God at any time while breath is in Your Body, and He will forgive your sins and accept you in His Kingdom of Heaven. And I have already dedicated lots of my writing to those people. But this is to you, sinner. This is to you, who will harden your heart to everything that everyone who comes to you preaching in God’s Name from the Bible. This is to you, who have chosen your path and is following it. This is to you, who have made your bed and is about to lie in it. This is to you, who will never change because you have decided that if you cannot be your own god then there will be no god at all. Well then why, you might ask, am I dedicating this effort to you? Simple, because it is my job. I must do it so that when judgment day comes, God will remind you that you read this, and then remind you that you were warned.
And as for the rest of you, if you have not done so, repeat with belief and sincerity below.
Father God, the One True God of Heaven Who Created The Land, Sea, and All Things In The Earth, Above, And Below, In The Name Of Lord Jesus Christ. I Am Sorry For All My Sins. Please Forgive me. I believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit (or Holy Ghost) Born of the Virgin Mary Died for my sins on the cross Rose from the dead on the third day Ascended into heaven And is the one begotten Son of God And is God and part of the One God That is The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost (or Holy Spirit) And who was God and man while on Earth. I submit that you are greater than I and all elseI submit myself to your complete authority And promise to zealously seek and obeyYour will and your will aloneAll the days of my life. I humbly request, Father God, In The Name Of JesusThat I be baptized with the Holy Spirit (or Holy Ghost)And receive evidence thereof At the time that you in your infinite wisdomWould deem appropriate. I believe that if I have said this prayer and fully believe and have faith in the contents therein that I am saved. I believe that this prayer and belief is all that is necessary to be saved And will hold fast to my salvation and the belief therein Whatever the words or actions of any man or spirit Save God himself. The Word Of God is the only Truth there is And I renounce all else. In the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus ChristI thank you God for having mercy on meI thank you God for saving meI thank Jesus Christ for dying for my sins on the cross and rising again For defeating death, hell, and Satan And thereby through him giving me the victory over the same And thereby through him making a way for me to enter heaven. Thank you Father for accepting me into the Body of ChristFor my salvation And for my entrance into heaven should I sincerely obey and serve you henceforth and for the rest of my life. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.If you have fulfilled above, then urgently go tell someone and thereby bear witness of your testimony. Isaiah 54:1 – Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, saith the LORD.
In the verse above, Isaiah was reassuring the barren women in letting them now that they were still valued in the eyes of God, and could still be useful in the Kingdom of Heaven. As stated in Do Not Covet, the plight of a barren woman in that culture could often be very bleak, for a woman’s value to the world was in her ability to bear children for her family. A woman without children in the eyes of the world had no place, no purpose, and those in that predicament would often cry out to God, blaming Him for creating them to go through life in a scorned, empty, meaningless, wasted existence. Is it as bad as I am making it sound? No, actually it was worse.
But the prophet was letting women know that they should not allow their worth to be determined by the sinful world, but rather by their Creator, Elohim. And that is a message that women need to hear today. Because in this evil day, a woman’s value is not determined by her ability to bear children, but rather her ability to create lustful imaginations and desires in men and women. (Yes, I did say women, do not be naïve; the modeling industry spends a great deal of effort finding models and poses that will simultaneously appeal to men AND to homosexual women, and the longtime photographer and editor of the notorious Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition is a woman.) And that just shows the degenerated unnatural state of our world today. Though some gender feminists might disagree, there is nothing wrong with having children while in the confines of holy matrimony; it is indeed a blessing from the Lord. But there is PLENTY wrong with provoking lust via sins of lasciviousness, harlotry, etc. It just shows how we have gotten to where we call good (people restricting their sexuality to having children within the confines of marriage) evil and evil (pornography, homosexuality, promiscuity, adultery, fornication, and similar) good in these last days (Isaiah 5:20).
The point is that though value in childbearing is more virtuous than value in provoking sin, women AND men should reject ALL forms of how worth is measured by the world. Because whether you are male or female, black or white (or other race), rich or poor, learned or skilled, etc. there will always be a place where you will not measure up, and that will cause you to be ungrateful and envious rather than thankful, and prideful in that which you do have as a defense mechanism moreover. And even were that not the case, it would all be vanity anyway. Your earthly esteem means nothing in the eyes of God. All of these earthly notions are sinful or are based in sin, and therefore will be destroyed in the lake of fire. Women AND men should concentrate on setting their eyes upon that which will last, which is how God sees them spiritually and their spiritual usefulness to God. God sees us as made in His Image, male and female. And God uses us not to create earthly fruit of vain works to be appreciated by man, but rather supernatural fruit in spirit and in truth to please Him. When we give of ourselves, it is corrupted by sin, and God rejects it. But when we give of the spirit, God’s Spirit, things that God put in us using the Ruach Hakadosh (Holy Spirit) through submission and faith, God accepts it. What we “bring forth” or “give birth to” using the inspiration and guide of the Ruach Hakadosh can be called “our spiritual children.” And while natural children are most excellent and a blessing from God, not everyone can have them. Since God is no respecter of persons and places in the kingdom of Heaven will not be determined in a manner where God did not bestow on barren women (or sterile men) the ability to produce, then obviously what is more important is spiritual children from your ministry. Should men and women renounce having children in order to dedicate their lives to God? God forbid! For the most important ministry a man and woman can ever have is raising their children to know and honor Christ and to worship God only in spirit and in truth. But even that is a spiritual job rather than a carnal one, for it is very possible to have children that are great successes by worldly standards but do not honor God. So God, therefore, respects things that we all have the ability to participate in.
Now there are a great many ways to produce spiritual fruit for God, and which ways one takes advantage of and in what measure is a function of the portion of the Body of Christ that each individual believer is, and of the gifts of the Ruach Hakadosh that he has. So, we will not address that in detail here. Instead, we shall focus on the two things that EVERY CHRISTIAN is capable of doing and is called to do. Those are preaching the gospel and showing charity (love). If you dedicate yourself to doing those things, your spiritual children will be many indeed. Why? Because those two things are directly related to bringing souls into the children of Heaven. Each person who hears and receives the gospel as a result of your efforts … well it is as if you would have had those children yourself! Indeed, it is better, for as stated earlier a great many women and men who have children neglect to raise them up in the Lord, thereby creating spiritual orphans. And it is those people whom YOU will become the spiritual birth parents to!
The first is preaching the gospel. No one can accept the gospel unless they hear it, and no one can hear the gospel unless it is preached, and the gospel cannot be preached unless there is a preacher. If people are going to be saved, someone has to tell them about Yeshua HaMashiach’s deity, birth, death, and resurrection, and that someone has to be you. No, I did not say “Why not you”, I said “that person HAS to be you.” While there are “surrogate mothers” for natural childbirth, in spiritual childbirth that is not the case: YOU HAVE TO PREACH. I heard a preacher assert that when we get to Heaven, people are going to go ask Yeshua HaMashiach where their family members and friends were, and upon being told “they are not here”, asking Him “Did not you create a salvation plan for them?” and His replying “Yes, and you were it, and you neglected to do it.” While witnessing to your family members, co – workers, neighbors, and friends is required, I reject the notion that the gospel should be “personalized” in such a fashion. We are, quite simply explicitly called to preach to total strangers. The former notion is based on the idea that a person is more willing to receive the gospel if it comes from someone that they know. Or that by virtue of knowing a person, one can “tailor – make” a gospel presentation that exploits that person’s needs and weaknesses. That is wrong, for it puts the pressure on the PREACHER to save people. The PREACHER does not save people, God does. Yeshua HaMashiach said that HE is the shepherd and HIS SHEEP will know HIS VOICE and respond to the sound of it. They are not your sheep, they are HIS sheep, it is not your voice it is HIS voice. So yes, perhaps preaching the gospel over and over again to a family member or co – worker over the course of many years may wear down the demonic oppression in his mind. Maybe you will be at the right place at the right time to preach the gospel when he is ready to accept it. Or maybe you will be able to, after some effort, come up with some apologetics that will convince him. That is what was the legendary case between J. R. R. Tollkein and C. S. Lewis. But even that is not your doing, for it is the Ruach Hakadosh that gave you the boldness and determination to put in the persistent effort. It was the Ruach Hakadosh that put you near your friend to preach to him when he was at his lowest point. It was the Ruach Hakadosh that gave you the wisdom to be able to answer all of your co – worker’s demonically – induced lying doubts. So just as the Ruach Hakadosh is able to do the work of bringing the sheep to the shepherd when the sheep is someone that you have known for fifty years, the Ruach Hakadosh is capable of bringing a sheep that you have known for all of thirty seconds to the shepherd.
And what of the sheep that do not respond? Do not worry. Do not grieve that your awkward or harsh or unconvincing presentation cost someone their eternal soul. Why? Again, consider the “thirty second conversions” that you hear the evangelists gushing about. How many of those “quick converts” do you believe ACTUALLY made the biggest decisions of their lives on a thirty second pitch if they have not been considering it prior? No, what happened in many of these instances is that SOMEONE ELSE PREACHED THE GOSPEL TO THEM BEFORE YOU GOT TO THEM, AND THEY HAVE BEEN THINKING ABOUT IT. Maybe for a few minutes, maybe for a few months, maybe for a hundred years! In a great many instances, all the “quick converter” does is “close the deal.” Take these “altar calls” at church. A great many of these people were not convinced to come to Jesus by the sermon. How can I say that? Because why did they come to church in the first place? Most of these people heard about Jesus somewhere else, and went to the church to be saved! Realize that there is NO FAILURE in Christ. A person who was not Christ’s sheep will not respond no matter how persistent the effort, no matter how excellent the pitch. And a person who IS Christ’s sheep? Even if they do not respond to you now, they will respond to someone else down the line. Provided, of course, that you preach to them. But the problem today is that there are so few “follow – up conversions” because there are so few initial attempts! That is what needs to be corrected. If you are shy about preaching the gospel, the best way is to just go up and do it to get your start. Walk out on the street or go to the mall and go up to the first person you see, and ask them if they want to go to Heaven when they die. If that person is a sheep, even if he laughs in your face, you will have contributed to his taking someone else more seriously down the line. If he is a goat, then well consider him practice for the sheep. Remember: Yeshua HaMashiach’s own countrymen put Him on the tree. Are you that much better than Him? (And go back to the follow – up conversion theme, a great many people who rejected Yeshua HaMashiach were later converted by the preaching of Peter and the others who accepted Him!) Where does love come in? Well, first off, you will never be a truly effective evangelist if you do not LOVE who you are evangelizing! You have to see them not so much as people of flesh, because you will be fooled by the condition of the outside. On the outside you may see a successful male who has a great job and a lot of money, is exceptionally educated, has a loving happy family where everyone conducts themselves morally, and has a fulfilling life. Try as you might, you cannot bring yourself to pity such a person. Indeed, your flesh might even envy him! On the opposite end of the spectrum, see someone who is rotting in jail for committing a series of truly heinous crimes against defenseless innocent victims. Again, you will not pity such a person in your flesh, but want to hate him! But look through the flesh to their spirits and you will see someone trapped in the pain and torment of sin and in deep dread of judgment! Only if you are able to love the SPIRIT of a person will you be able to effectively evangelize that person no matter who he is without your flesh – or his flesh – getting in the way.
There is another dimension too, and that is simply that love makes for a great witness, especially among the people that experience you often: your church members, neighbors, friends, and family members. It is one thing to TELL them why you are saved, it is another thing to SHOW them. Get this: plenty of people would receive the gospel if they had never in their lives gone to church. Why? Because when these people went to church, they met some of the coldest and most hateful people on the planet! Synagogues of Satan, of course! Or sure, they were very nice and accommodating inside the church, but hypocrites and double – minded people out of it. Lukewarm Laodiceans! But if you can show someone true love over a consistent period of time, that will cover up the wounds that such a person has experienced in his life. That will make him forget all of the intellectual problems that he has with the Bible. It will overcome all of his biases and prejudices. That person will see in you what he has been missing in his life and want some of it! Sure, love is shown when you go to the derelicts in the streets, visit the widows and orphans in their homes, the sick and dying in their hospices, and the prisoners in jail, and these things we must do. But that does not replace showing love to the people that you see every day in your life. If you cannot see the wounded spirit in your next door neighbor that needs a salve, then the sympathy that you claim to feel for someone dying of cancer in a hospital ward is false! And if you do cannot forgive the sins of the person that you worship with each Sunday, how can you tell the drunk lying in the gutter that you want God to forgive HIS sins? Showing love not only gets people into the church, it keeps people from backsliding out of it. If you can keep yourself from taking the easy way out by either condemning someone when they sin or supporting them in their sins, and instead choose the hard path – the path of love – by showing them compassion and mercy but insisting that they need to repent not to please you or the person that they have hurt, but rather to please GOD, then the sheep will listen. As for the goats, well if you can show love to a goat then your ability to show love will be perfected when it is time to counsel a sheep’s broken heart. Christians are not charged to withdraw ourselves from the world and its problems, we are charged to go out into the world and get the people OUT of the world and its sins. But we cannot do that if we do not have love. We have to preach the gospel, and we have to show love both so that the preaching of the gospel is effective AND that the hope and power of the gospel stays with our fellowservants during the storms that they will inevitably face. That includes showing love to the all the prodigal sons upon their return.
But you say that you do not know how to show love? Then be of good cheer, for you are better than the religious hypocrites who claim to know love but do not. Cast off the religious preconceptions, as well as the corrupt worldly notions of love. All you have to do to be one who shows perfect love – which casts out all fear – is keep John 14:15, which is is keeping the Commandments of God. How is this? Well, realize that you are a sinner, born a rebel to God. So naturally there is no love or goodness in you. The religious hypocrites have no concept of this, and regard their love as actions motivated by their own hearts. Little do they know that their hearts are diseased and corrupted, cold and dead by sin to love or righteousness! So, the only way you can even have love to show it is through the Holy Spirit coming out of you. If you submit yourself to the Holy Spirit by obeying the Word of God, then that allows the Holy Spirit to use you as a vessel to bring forth love out of the spiritual realm into the natural realm. But if you disobey the commandments of God, you are actually restraining the working of the Holy Spirit with your own will. The Holy Spirit is trying to pour love out through you, but you are capping the lid on it! Or it can be said that you are a marred, corrupt vessel unfit for the Holy Spirit’s use. Also, if you love yourself first, you will do your own will and lie by calling it acceptable or even the will of God, as do the religious hypocrites. But if you love God first, you will give up your own will and desires and be contented to do the will of God. So make no mistake Christian, obedience is the key to showing love, and one of the main areas of obedience that needs be done IS TO PREACH THE GOSPEL!
So be encouraged, fellowservants in Christ. Preach the gospel and show love, and you will have many spiritual children counted as yours on judgment day. I love you all and may God save, bless, and keep you.
Prayer: Father YHVH in the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach, may Your children forget about worldly value systems and vain works of the flesh and instead seek to produce spiritual fruit before you by faith with love and the gospel. Amen. Deliverance: The demons that work in this area are low self esteem and worldliness. Please read the Basic Spiritual Warfare guide to learn more about how to go against these demons to help set captives free and win battles in the name of your God through the power, authority, and victory given to you by his Son Jesus Christ and by his blood shed for you!

You know, a lot of Christians have trouble believing I Corinthians 10:13 – There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 1 Peter 2:24 - “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” gives a lot of people problems too. But I am here, fellowservants of the Lord, the elect remnant and the redeemed from sin from the brethren, you should know your victory that Yeshua HaMashiach has already won for you, for you see the Bible is the Word of God, Yeshua HaMashiach is the Word of God, and both are true! You just need to hear the Word so that you can walk in the faith of its truth. For the saved to be truly effective in their works, they need to know that there is no temptation that they cannot bear. In order to be effective witnesses to the world, we cannot hide in our religious country clubs and plantations, but instead we have to go where the sinners are. We cannot be effective if our fear of being overcome by the same sins that have sinners trapped in addiction, pornography, murder, violence, false religions and doctrines, etc. causes us to evade sinners, or to look down upon them when we encounter them. Faith in the truth and standing in the truth are vital if we are to truly love our neighbor by effectually preaching the gospel to him no matter who he is, where he is, or what we have done.
How many of us will not go to a certain place to do God’s Will, or even preach or study on a certain issue, because we perceive that we have a “weakness” in that area, perhaps because we used to sin in that area, or we still have a strong desire to sin in that area? Well, the thing is that often the reason why this apprehension exists is because Satan has worked to place them in us by manipulating the circumstances in our lives, and he does so because he is able to guess that those areas are precisely the ones that God has called us to minister to people on. That is why so many prominent Christians fall in just those areas. When a pastor is known for attacking an area in his ministry, and he is later found to have indulged in that same sin, we often call him a “hypocrite.” Well, it is often precisely because Satan knew that this man was so effective in this area that he unleashed the very gates of hell against that man to ensnare him in that area, so that when he fell, it would discredit the eyes of that very effective pastor in that area both before the world and the lukewarm Christians.
All you have to do is remember how Noah sinned as soon as he left the ark! That did not undo his preaching of righteousness and being saved by the ark, didn’t it? So, it is not only that Christians should not withhold from going up against their temptations because God will keep them from falling; it is that even if they DO FALL, the very same grace that saved them as sinners to begin with will keep them conciled with God. Just as the good works that Noah did before sinning were still true and Noah continued to honor God after sinning, every preacher who preached against a sin that he was later found to have committed was used by the Holy Spirit, the Ruach Hakadosh, to free people from those very sins with his preaching before his sin became known, and so long as he humbled himself and repented, he was able to be used by God to free people from that same sin just as he was before his own sins in that area became known. David fell and God restored him. Therefore, he can restore you!
One of the most effective lies that Satan released in the church was the foolish notion that Christians should be perfect. I oppose this demonic evil here. How many people go unhelped because of the prideful Christian desire to stay perfect? And why do we want to stay perfect anyway? To please God, or ourselves? Do you not have faith in your God to keep you from sinning? Do you not have faith in God to forgive you if you do sin? Why are you a Christian in the first place, to be about God’s business and to live by faith and rely on the grace of God daily, or to pat yourself on the back and to be able to proclaim among men about what a great man you are? And if you are not healing the sick, visiting those in prison, and bringing the least of society – those who are the worst afflicted by the most depraved of demons and sins – into the Kingdom of Heaven, are you truly great? And who wants to be great anyway? Did not God say that the first shall be last and the last shall be first? Yeshua HaMashiach was offered greatness by SATAN but rejected it, instead choosing to SERVE. Which means that He had to see some things that He did not want to see. He had to stick His Hands where a lot of good Christian folk with their devils’ doctrines, vain traditions, and sinful legalism would never stick it. Yeshua HaMashiach went with the lepers, prostitutes, drunks, tax collectors, and the very dregs of society, and God protected His Virtue. Even after He died, He would not suffer His Holy One to see corruption, but instead raised Him from the dead (Psalm 16:10). What makes you think that He would not protect yours? And consider Simon Peter. Peter fell, hard, denying Yeshua HaMashiach three times, and that was after falling asleep in the Garden of Gethsemane when Yeshua HaMashiach needed his prayers the most. Yet Yeshua HaMashiach did not allow Peter to accept Satan’s lies that he was fallen and there was no hope! Yeshua HaMashiach went to Peter and told him “feed my sheep!” He let Peter know that he was saved by grace and not by works, and Peter, despite his horrible sin, could still be restored to preach the gospel of grace to others. Was Peter’s service to the Lord rendered null after he denied Christ? Was he unable to preach the gospel after he denied Christ but was forgiven? God forbid! As a matter of fact, one of the first events in Acts was Peter preaching to those who committed the same sin as he, denying Christ, and they were convicted by the Holy Spirit in Peter’s words and were saved!
God has not given us the spirit of fear but of peace and of sound mind. Why do you fear sin, a defeated foe? See that is your problem. You really do not believe that sin is defeated. Why? Because you have watched too many action movies, where the bad guy gets totally obliterated in three seconds and is never heard from again. But talk to policemen. Talk to soldiers on the battlefield. Policemen know how someone already captured, in handcuffs, and being read his rights can still headbutt them, bite them, and kick them in the groin. Soldiers know how a mortally wounded enemy can still get off that last round or two from his gun or make one last stab or three with his bayonet to make sure that he takes someone else with him into death. And they also know how an army that has already been defeated will keep fighting to the last man rather than surrender. People have this false belief that if sin has been defeated, it should just go away because they have been falsely conditioned to believe such nonsense by media, entertainment, and the schools. Just because sin has been defeated doesn’t mean that it can’t still get a good lick or three in on you. Just because sin has been defeated doesn’t mean that it can’t trip you up and knock you flat on the back. But the difference between you and sin is that you are not defeated because the Christ in you is not defeated. Sin can hit you one or three times, you can take those hits and give back 100 punches that sin can’t take. And the only reason why sin was able to trip you up was because he was already laying flat on his back. But you can get up again, and sin can’t! You can get up, stomp sin in the head five or ten good times while sin is laying on its back, and then walk away. Sure, he might crawl after you like the snake that he is, but he can’t get up! Have you not read the Bible? Do you not understand? GOD CURSED SATAN TO CRAWL ON HIS BELLY AND EAT DUST THE REST OF HIS DAYS(Genesis 3:14)! THAT MEANS SIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN AND CAN NOT GET UP!
So Satan cannot defeat you. The only thing that he can do is to get you to defeat yourself by tricking you or scaring you into using your free will not to fight. God will not take away your free will, so if you make that decision, then you have knocked your own self out. But once you realize that Satan is a liar and sin is already defeated and even if you do go out and commit the most disgusting sin in the world, it does not matter because God’s grace will abound and you will be forgiven and still be usable by God. Now this does not mean that you should go out and sin on purpose. God forbid. This does not mean that you should not be careful and elect, and remember that all things that are possible are not expedient. God forbid. This does not mean that you should resist sin with all your being and flee temptation at all turns. God forbid. You still have to obey the Bible. You still have to keep God’s Commandments. But what you people do not realize is that if you do not get there on the battlefield and go into hand to hand combat against the enemy for all of God’s Sheep that are being held captive by the enemy by preaching them the gospel, you are not keeping His Commandments! If you are not out there putting it on the line for the Lord every day, then when judgment day comes, you are going to be telling the Lord how you loved Him and all the things you did for Him, and He will tell you to depart from Him, He knows you not, because you spent your life doing vain works that He did not care about and has no respect for because you let Satan call your shots by responding to instead of confronting your fears and thereby was too faithless to get out and do what God had actually put a call on your life to do!
Am I trying to scare you? Well, yes I am. But only because I love you. Look folks, this is serious business. The thing that you are most scared of is usually the area where SATAN most fears you operating in. No one said that serving God was going to be easy. No one said that you wouldn’t have to give up something. No one said that you wouldn’t cry a lot of tears and spend a lot of sleepless nights. But despite going through all that, just knowing that you have already overcome, that you are already redeemed into the Kingdom of Heaven under the New Covenant built on better promises ought to make it worth it! That is really the tragic, sad, ironic thing. People do not even take advantage of the better promises of the New Covenant to put themselves on the line. They go and hide in church as if God has not made a covenant with them at all! Amazing how the children of Israel went out ot battle, always outnumbered and always outgunned, under the Old Covenant and were delivered every time, and we, the new Israel, will not go out into battle under the BETTER MORE POWERFUL COVENANT! And the reason for this is all this foolish false doctrine that fills people full of fear, false doctrine that makes them fear defeated foes like sin, fear, temptation, Satan, poverty, and death more than they love their already victorious God! Well in the Name of Yeshua HaMaschiach, I rebuke that right back to the pit of hell, and I prophesy that a righteous remnant of the chosen will stand up and begin to go forth, fearless, and do that which God wants them to do but all others till this day have rejected because of their fears.
Prayer:Father YHVH in the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach, I pray that your children will know that they should not fear temptation or sin, but rather they should go out before those enemies knowing that You have already overcome them. May Your children not keep themselves to save easy religious tasks, but instead be bold going forth and doing great things according to your Divine Inspiration. Amen.
